Fire Awareness and Warden with Fire Extinguisher Practical (Blended Learning)

Comprehensive hybrid training combining flexible online theory with hands-on fire extinguisher practice and warden duties

Course Overview

We provide a blended Fire Awareness and Warden course designed to give your designated fire safety staff the knowledge and hands-on skills to confidently manage a fire emergency. This hybrid format is highly efficient—participants learn the critical theory, legislation, and warden responsibilities online at their own pace, minimising time away from their daily duties.

Following the online modules, students attend a focused, hands-on practical session. Led by experienced fire safety instructors, this face-to-face component allows participants to practice evacuation sweep protocols and includes a live, practical demonstration where every student gets to physically operate a fire extinguisher. This ensures your workplace meets its legal health and safety obligations while ensuring your staff are genuinely prepared to act.

Who Should Attend?

This course is essential for anyone appointed as a Fire Warden or Fire Marshal in their workplace. It is highly recommended for safety representatives, department managers, facilities management staff, and anyone responsible for coordinating emergency evacuations across offices, manufacturing sites, schools, or hospitality venues.

Participant Requirements

No prior fire safety experience is required. Participants must complete the online eLearning modules before attending the onsite practical session. Because the practical component involves handling real fire extinguishers (often outdoors), participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and flat, closed-toe footwear.
