Fire Aid Responder – Blended Learning

A specialised hybrid course combining rapid fire emergency response with critical life-saving medical aid

Course Overview

We provide a comprehensive, blended Fire Aid Responder course designed for individuals who need to manage both fire emergencies and the resulting medical crises. When a fire occurs, the immediate risks go beyond just the flames—smoke inhalation, burns, and crush injuries during evacuation require a specialized first-response approach.

This hybrid format allows participants to complete the foundational theory online at their own pace. Following the eLearning modules, students attend an intensive 1-day onsite practical session. During this face-to-face training, our expert instructors run hands-on scenarios that bridge the gap between fire safety and first aid, ensuring you are confident in using fire extinguishers, managing an evacuation, and providing immediate trauma care until emergency services arrive.

Who Should Attend?

This course is specifically designed for designated workplace emergency responders, safety officers, facility managers, and industrial staff. It is ideal for those working in high-risk environments (such as manufacturing, laboratories, or hospitality) who need a dual-skilled approach to both fire warden duties and emergency medical response.

Participant Requirements

No prior medical or fire safety training is required. Participants must fully complete the online theory modules before attending the 1-day practical session. Because the practical day involves physical activity (including CPR on the floor and handling fire extinguishers), participants should wear comfortable, closed-toe footwear and advise the instructor of any physical limitations beforehand.
