Manual Handling (Online Theory & Video Upload Practical)

Fully compliant, flexible manual handling certification - complete the theory online and submit your practical assessment via video

Course Overview

We provide a highly flexible, HSA-compliant Manual Handling course designed for modern, busy, or remote workforces. This innovative format allows participants to achieve full manual handling certification without ever needing to travel to a classroom.

The course is split into two straightforward steps:

  1. Online Theory: Participants complete the interactive eLearning modules covering the legalities, biomechanics, and risk assessment principles of manual handling.

  2. Video Upload Practical: Instead of attending an in-person practical session, participants record short videos of themselves performing specific lifting techniques using a smartphone or tablet. These videos are uploaded securely to our platform and reviewed by one of our QQI Level 6 Certified Manual Handling Instructors.

If the lifts are performed correctly and safely, certification is issued. If technique adjustments are needed, our instructors provide personalized feedback so the student can try again.

Who Should Attend?

This course is ideal for anyone required to engage in manual handling tasks across any industry, including retail, healthcare, hospitality, office administration, and manufacturing. It is the perfect solution for remote workers, individuals who cannot afford classroom downtime, and employers managing staff across multiple locations.
