Safety Harness Awareness Training
Learn to select, inspect, and use a harness safely when working in a MEWP
Course Overview
This course instructs users on how to properly select, inspect, and use a safety harness and associated equipment specifically when operating a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP). It provides essential knowledge to carry out pre-use checks, store equipment correctly, and understand rescue procedures.
We offer this course as both our in-house certification and as an official IPAF-accredited course. This can also be combined with our MEWP operator course on the same day.
Who Should Attend?
This training is essential for all those in your organisation who use, supervise, or manage the use of Safety Harnesses and Lanyards for work in MEWPs.
Participant Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) with them, specifically their own Harness & Lanyard.
- A good understanding of English is required for the presentation and assessment.
Location
This half-day course is available daily from our training centres. On-site training on your premises is also available anywhere in Ireland, subject to minimum numbers and a suitable room for the theory section.
