Course Overview
This 2-day course is for existing holders of a First Aid Responder (FAR) certificate who are looking to refresh their skills and knowledge. It re-establishes your ability to recognise and care for people with life-threatening injuries before the arrival of healthcare practitioners, and renews your certification for another 2 years.
Participant Requirements
- A current, in-date FAR certificate (must have at least one month remaining before expiry).
- Students must be physically well enough to carry out practical skills (e.G., CPR, recovery position).
- PPE (e.g., Facemask for CPR) will be required.
- A good understanding of English is required.

- Cardiac First Response – Community Level (CPR & AED)
- Common Medical Emergencies
- Injury Management & Shock
- Care of the Unconscious Patient
